In plant sap testing, pH indicates balance of nutrients that have been taken up into leaves. Helps identify missing elements. Foliage (leaf sap) pH is indicative of the potential for insect & disease pressure.
Calibrate meters with pH buffer solutions. All of the pH testers from Pike Agri-Lab Supplies feature at least 2-point calibration for better accuracy throughout the entire pH scale. You will need to use both pH 7.01 and pH 4.01 calibration solutions to get this accuracy. The LAQUAtwin pH meter includes calibration solution with the meter. Replenishment calibration solutions are sold separately.
